Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama

As a way of capturing the spirit of the world-renowned World Stage Design festival, the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama asked me to come in house during the festival and run the blog.

During the week that I was there, I wrote over 40 posts which covered all kinds of aspects of the festival and used a variety of different media including sound, video and photo in addition to interviews with famous designers, book store owners, delegates and several more traditional reporting pieces including with the First Minister of Wales and the Taiwanese Ambassador to the UK.

Math Talfan, Head of Marketing at RWCMD said: “Marc spent a week as a roving journalist at the World Stage Design 2013 event at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. Working alongside a team of documentary photographers he produced a daily stream of high quality written, audio and photographic posts for the event website and various social media services. He was able to produce work quickly and efficiently while showing a good understanding of the specialist nature of the event. He quickly became part of the event team, and his contribution were greatly valued by all involved.”
