La Jouissance — Florian Zeller

I read this for the third or fourth time this year. Zeller is a superstar in France but has barely made a noise here. So much so that his best book, La Jouissance, isn’t even in English. I would like to translate it but it seems like such an effort to persuade a publisher to acquire the rights. It received horrible reviews in France but the story is an allegory for the European Union based on the breakdown of a relationship between the two main characters.
